Hey everybody. Some of us were talking and we wanted to have a day where we turned in poems on the same theme (maybe a day where we all wrote an aubade, or a sonnet, etc.). I wanted to discuss our options here, since that seems easiest. I was thinking of workshopping the themed poems on Wednesday the 29th. So anyway, post your ideas/votes here.
I'd like to aubades.
I think writing an aubade would be a cool idea. I haven't written one before so I think it would be an interesting challenge.
For more ideas- I think writing a poem about Halloween, or something inspired by it, might be interesting too, since that meeting would be around that time. Just a suggestion.
Either way, we should probably take down the most popular ideas and vote on it a week before or so.
